Bathroom Remodel
The homeowners had a generic bathroom with a large jetted tub and a separate, small acrylic shower enclosure with a dropped soffit above. The two vanity sinks were set into a long vanity, and the toilet sat on an angle in the corner of the bathroom with no privacy.
Our customers wanted to use the space better and incorporate a larger, tiled shower, 6-foot-long soaking tub, privacy for the toilet, and a linen closet within the bathroom rather than the hallway.
We expanded the footprint of the bathroom by removing the existing linen closet in the hallway and angled wall in the bedroom. We updated the space with the following:
- Water closet
- Oval soaking tub
- Granite-topped tub deck
- Curved birch, cherry-stained custom cabinet
- Granite countertop and shower seat
- Porcelain- and marble-filled mosaic tiles
