Bathroom Remodeling In Elgin
Our remodeling team renovated this bathroom in Elgin from top to bottom. Here are some of the changes we made:
New freestanding tub. The original rectangular alcove tub was replaced with a new stone resin freestanding tub, by the shower. New faucet fixtures were also added to complete the enhancement to the bathtub area.
New shower and fixtures. Previously, the old shower was a stock enclosure, while the new shower was equipped with a rain shower head, and body shower jets. The new shower enclosure also has a black/white color motif, with a built in recessed shower caddy area, decorated with an aggregate gray tile pattern. Also, the new shower has a corner mini-bench, so bathers can sit down, or place additional toiletries. Lastly, the shower base has a green-gray aggregate pattern, which makes the shower look luxurious.
New marble flooring. The original tile was large squares, while the new laminate wood flooring has an appealing tan-brown pattern, which accentuates the rest of the bathroom.
New countertops and cabinets. The previous bathroom featured a standard plain resin sink and vanity countertop. In this renovation, an engineered stone vanity countertop with two sinks was installed. An upgraded white vanity serves as the base for the extended sink and countertop, replacing the standard brown vanity that was previously in place. Individual mirrors were secured to the wall above each sink.
Walls repainted. The initial paint was a medium deep blue, which clashed with the beige tiles in the old bathroom. In the renovated bathroom, our team made the wall with the sinks a dark slate gray, and the other walls a lighter gray, to reflect the natural sunlight for effectively, and create a contrasting effect. The end result is a stunning and elegantly designed bathroom that adds value to the home, and happiness to the homeowners.
Improved lighting fixtures and wall decor. Above the tub, a chandelier-style light fixture was installed. New lighting was added above the countertops, with accent wall displays adding a new dimension of interior decorating to the bathroom.
