My recent Client Deniece, in Smyrna, loves an upscale luxurious look with a touch of glam, but also having a down to earth natural feel for balance. I had a great time working with her. She was Awesome! We collaborated on what would be the best bed coverings to give her the right attitude. We decided on to go glam with the bedcoverings and then I balanced it with bedside pieces in a natural unfinished wood. The unique mirrored sconces over the bedside pieces were a fantastic flea market find. I'm constantly out looking for unique pieces that you won't find in stores! I worked on the pair to give them a more pronounced silver finish and added a bit of sparkle, so that in the evening light, they will dazzle! A tufted wingback headboard and Puddled floor to ceiling draperies look relaxed and elegant together. The original espresso finish on the bed bench was changed to a metallic silver and a lovely traditional patterned rug is a perfect anchor for this lovely bed!
