Originally this was two pieces of macrame that a seamstress sewed together. The idea was to mount it so it would act as a headboard. We moved it out along the ceiling some more to allow the color difference to become the pivot point

Once installed, the two sets of sheer draperies soften the room, They are ripple fold pleated, so when closed they have an even measure across the top

This is the left set of sheers on this project. The Orion drapery rod had a slit in the bottom for the carriers. These use a clear baton to draw them open and closed

This is the right set of sheers on this project. The ripple fold pleat at the top gathers well and keeps the pleats even all the way down. As you can see, the street out front is easily seen, so they wanted some privacy as well

These 180" wide by 120" tall Blackout draperies are lined and interlined, so when fully closed, stop all light. We put them on a heavy duty manual traverse rod from Orion Hardware
