Modern Lake Front

Custom home on lakefront property. The house was not pre-wired for window coverings, and the house was just painted in a metallic finish paint that does not touch up well! Somfy battery operated shades were the perfect solution. The shades offer privacy and light filtering, while still able to connect to the home automation system. We were able to use different fabrics to make the bedroom more private - while keeping the views; cut glare in rooms with televisions; give guest rooms a comfortable feel and let in the right amount of natural light in the Dining room

They wanted complete privacy, so I went with motorized blackout shades here. Even this large 72" by 86" window can be serviced by a battery powered motor!
