Before this room was dark with built in book shelves and full of clutter. Not at all a place that it calming or relaxing for anyone let alone your mother-in-law. Before she came back from a vacation I helped update her room and create a more functional closet. We started with picking out a wallpaper something neutral yet whimsical. That led to all the other decisions, such as the type of furniture we where going to be replacing, to the bedding and slip cover for the mechanical chair in the corner. The final piece that brought this room together was deciding to replace the dated light with a chandelier.
