Before the renovation this master suite was dark and dated, the close lacked storage. In the bathroom the shower was small and there was also not enough storage. The goals of these spaces included creating a bright, inviting sanctuary, more storage in the closet and bathroom with an enlarged steam shower. As well as a functional office space in the bedroom nook. The initial plan was to keep the wallpaper but taking up the flooring there was some damage to it, so we jumped off with a wallpaper that had a similar shape to the original wallpaper. Lightening the walls and bedding helped to create light, relaxing retreat. We bought a buffet to customize as a built in for the office nook, which give ample storage for files and helps to make a beautiful vignette for video calls. The bathroom was gutted to make space for a larger steam shower and the clients decided to put in a tower for more storage over having a second sink as lack of storage was an issue before.
