Thoughtful remodel of 1930's Mediterranean style bungalow within original house footprint maintains the original feel of the home, while vastly improving the functionality. The wall between the dining room and kitchen was opened up to connect kitchen with the adjacent spaces. New windows were added and the distinctive arch detail found in existing rooms of the home was repeated at the windows and the new opening. Stacked cabinetry maximizes storage in the relatively small kitchen.
