Belmont Kitchen

With a growing family, there was a need to update the old kitchen and dining area to a more open space with a lot more countertop area and storage. We took the wall down between the two rooms and designed a new space where the family can enjoy being together for cooking, eating, homework and crafts!

After taking the wall down between these 2 rooms, the area became bright and functional.
L-shaped Kitchen
With the client using grey and whites in the new kitchen, she wanted to use 2 different countertop tones. A grey quartz on the main l-shape and a white quartz on the island

A new window over the sink and the now exposed windows in the dining area bring so much light into the new kitchen!

A place for everything....and everything in it's place as they say! Clean countertops and a beautiful grey and white transitional look.
Sleek and simple!
Beautiful high quality wood dove-tailed drawers. These are on full-extension drawer runners so you can see everything easily in the drawer and they all are soft-close! The top drawer has an insert for spices.

A wide and deep farmhouse sink in stainless steel.

This sink comes with a slightly bowed front and steel grid for the bottom so pans do not scratch it. Note the window sill done in the same stone as the countertops!

This back entrance from the porch used to have a closet which was removed to give the refrigerator wall a larger run with a functioning pantry.

The cabinet over the refrigerator is 24 inches deep and has dividers for trays, muffin tins, cookie sheets, platters etc.

A pull-out for trash and recycling along with a divider drawer above for cutlery.

To allow for a minimum of 36" walkway, the island was made 18" deep. There is plenty of storage with the full-extension drawers. An overhand on one end allows additional seating.

Sink wall
The combination of the grey tones in the mosaic and it's shine adds another texture to the kitchen and reflects the light from the windows and the under cabinet lights
