This project blended the old with the new - a lovely new home for this family, with great bones that needed only a few structural fixes. The interiors were designed to be family as well as entertaining friendly, and furniture brought over from the prior home had to mix and blend with the new surroundings and pieces that filled out these spaces.
Details in some rooms included all new millwork, fireplace surround, lighting, wall paint colors and select pieces of new furniture. In others, everything was brought over and repurposed to work within it's new space, even including the window treatments which were re-cut and re-fashioned to fit perfectly in their new location!
This perfect and seamless blending of the old with the new resulted in a comfortable, timeless look that appears to have been in place for decades, strengthening family memories and creating new ones.
