This remodeling project in Mountainside was a labor of love, time and creativity in every way. Keeping the original home's footprint and classic colonial style exterior was a goal, but the interiors required upgrading, modernizing and refreshing. The kitchen and bathrooms were entirely redone, with clean whites and pops of color to create a unique and modern point of view. All the original wood floors were refinished, and original skylights kept in place. The result is an airy, happy home that will function beautifully today, while maintaining the charm of the original in the details and finishes.
