Beverlywood Apartment Complex Remodel

With a building that originates from the '40s, the clients main objective was to maintain the character and simplicity of the structure while adding a layer of modernity. By revamping the exterior structure after many years of neglect, the older personality began to shine through. Adding touches of warm wood including a new fence, building numbers and various accents, along with a drought tolerant local desert landscaping, the rental building perfectly fits into its easy going California surroundings.

Along with the exterior renovation, one of the units was renovated to become a modern open floor living space. The interior was gutted, and a wall was opened between the living and dining spaces creating a larger open floor plan. New kitchen and bathroom designs incorporate modern and playful moves as well as restraint to maintain a space that will wear well over time with the use of a rental apartment. Dark Bamboo floors throughout juxtapose the clean whites and grays and create a cohesive experience from room to room.
