This Coral Gables client wished to have an outdoor shower designed for his existing pool deck. The goal was to make the shower look like an integrated, original piece of the patio, as well as have it designed as an architecturally exciting element. I designed the shower in a circular shape to reflect an existing circular jacuzzi, and faced the concrete frame with travertine tile to match the existing pool tilework. Some artistic distinction was created by adding short columns to bracket the shower entrance, each topped with a flowering planter to tie the shower in with the rest of the garden.
