Blue Dream

“Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue, and the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true.” – Judy Garland
For most of us, blue invokes a feeling of power, peace, & calm. With this project, the blue finish helped to transform the space into a beautiful room to start and finish your day.
Notes from our customers on working with us to transform their space:
1. What were you looking for in your remodel?
We had a very small kitchen which was outdated and difficult to work in. There was not a lot of counter space or cabinet space. We wanted to open up the room by taking down the wall between the kitchen and dining room.
2. What do you love most about your remodel?
All of the natural light that we get in the space now having windows on three sides of the house. And the increase in storage and counter-space.
3. What was your main concern when deciding on a remodeling company?
We wanted to know what the plan was going into the project. It was hard to find a company that would help us develop a plan before we signed a contract. Everyone else we met with would barely even discuss possible options or ideas with us unless we committed to them.
4. What made you choose O’Hanlon Kitchens? Would you recommend O’Hanlon Kitchens?
We chose O'Hanlon because their quote (which was not the lowest) seemed to be the most thought through. We were concerned about "things coming up" with the low-ballers. O'Hanlon gave us a quote that included some "what ifs" which made us feel like we knew what we were going to spend going in. We have an older house and we had no idea what we would find when we opened up the walls. (We found some stuff!!) They also didn't require us to buy everything through them which allowed us to do some bargain hunting for a few items. Tracy talked through some ideas with us and sent us a model of what we could do with our space after our initial meeting (Pre-contract) and was also very supportive throughout the design process. That helped us visualize the project and made us feel like we knew what we were committing to. To summarize, we chose O'Hanlon because they invested more effort in our project before we signed with them than any other company we met with (5 others). They also were not intimidated by our three dogs, and it was important to us that our dogs wouldn't have to be confined for weeks while we redid the kitchen. Would definitely recommend.
