This fireplace feature needed a remodel and an updated look. Using a special technique and concrete mix, we pressed real wood into setting concrete to give it the look and feel of wooden planks. These massive, one-piece slabs were put on the exterior and interior of the fireplace for a cool, modern look that invokes natural elements and mid-century modernism.
