This golf community home in Boca, was a very rewarding challenge. The owners inherited the home from their parents and wanted it completely gutted and updated, all flooring, all bathrooms, the kitchen and fully furnished. They wanted to try to sell the property, but for me also to keep in mind their personal preferences in case it did not sell. I also needed to design targeting an entire marketplace of taste!
I used practical and beautiful materials like porcelain faux wood plank tiles that are impervious to humidity. The color palette was blue and gray shades of paint as the backdrop and super neutral furniture and window coverings. I invested in the kitchen cabinetry and Master soaking tub.
The furniture and lighting was very simple and practical and I repurposed loads of existing items with paint finishes and reupholstery.
I stayed on budget and on time. The first two showings of the home resulted in a bidding war between buyers and my client received more than ask.
