Bocce Ball
When lighting a bocce court, many factors come into play. The light must cover the entire surface. The light must not shine into the eyes of the players. The fixtures must be durable to withstand an errant toss or unsteady player. Finally, the fixtures must be attractive so as not to detract from the daytime appearance of the court.
All these goals were easily accomplished by veteran lighting designer David Solmes of Mission Valley Gardens. Through his skillful placement of VOLT® cast brass Mini Dog Innovator and Twinnovator spotlights, he was able to create perfect illumination for the bocce players.
