Bonny Doon Estate

With quarter-mile square estate, it’s no wonder this project took a full three years! The original, mid-century modern house originally designed by Kitchen and Hunt Architects in the mid-1950’s consisted of a main and guest structure separated by a breezeway. We combined the two to create a truly unique home overlooking the Monterrey Bay. Additionally, two separate guest houses on the property were in serious need of updating, so a full gut and remodel was done to each. And finally, we completely resurrected and restored a large post and beam barn that was in a serious state of disrepair.
