We fully gutted an existing garage and converted it into a one-bedroom unit with a bonus sleeping loft. By creating good flow, small efficient space can be as functional as larger homes. The kitchen is tucked out of the way behind the ladder wall which gives easy access to a large, comfortable sleeping loft. Around the corner is the bed nook with adjacent bath. Who says you can’t still have privacy in a small space?
