The home originally had stained wood ship lap walls in the living room, which was incredibly dark. But to throw a nod to her previous life, we hung these unique rope work framed art on either side of the french doors (also replaced by former slider door).

Continuing the dark hardwood flooring into the kitchen kept a cohesive look and made the home feel larger. The rustic vintage style pendant light over the kitchen sink adds some charm and style to the kitchen sink. We kept the accessories neutral, again using glass, wood and a neutral pallet.

The master bedroom is certainly on the smaller side, so we used light and small scale furnishings to keep the feeling light and airy. A wood queen platform bed with large stripe bedding, glass tables as bedside tables, and simple art which pops on the grey walls kept the space minimal but impactful.

We kept the accessories very minimal in the hall bath. By removing the outdated shower surround and adding modern ceramic tile, it modernized the space and also made it feel hip and trendy.

We styled a girls room using a Princess and Frog theme. Using bright and colorful accessories with an upholstered bed makes the space feel playful and modern but special.
