This minimal wine cellar was custom designed for an existing space in our client’s basement with professional-grade cooling and craftsman-quality built-in racking and storage. Our client wanted this cellar to match their minimalist style to evoke a sense of harmony and align with their home’s aesthetic. White oak wine racks and shelving ground the design, while the slide-out trays for holding vintage wine crates add an unexpected touch of wabi-sabi. We opted for no hardware on the drawers and cabinets to complete the clean, uncluttered look. The combination of natural wood tones and modern symmetry creates a zen feel, while the latest technology keeps the wine collection perfectly cooled and protected.
