Bright Contemporary Kitchen

This kitchen had an awkward, inefficient layout with lots of wasted space and a dated look. A creative redesign, keeping certain elements like the existing cabinets, helped make this kitchen look and function better without an expensive redesign and remodel of the whole space.

The wall separating the dining room from the kitchen was removed, allowing us to add a breakfast peninsula and additional cabinetry that matched the existing kitchen cabinets. The beautiful hardwood floor from the dining room was extended throughout the kitchen.

The new color scheme balances light and dark elements. The heavy granite countertops is balanced by the use of glass in the upper cabinet doors and the blue glass tile backsplash.
