This 1970s rural home had a small and cramped living area and kitchen. The family did not have enough space to hold large gatherings and spread out. A remodel was necessary to create a functional space for the family of four. A dry bar was added by the fireplace, new appliances were thoughtfully relocated, red recycled glass tiles added a punch of color to the kitchen, and a corner bookshelf was installed. The remodel completely transformed the space. This bright, cheery new kitchen now has lots of space for processing the families’ garden harvest, entertaining guests comfortably, and a large functional island with seating for four.
