This east-end Toronto loft was originally saddled with a developer’s standard model kitchen and a bare bones bathroom. Belyea Bros. Ltd. transformed the space into a dynamic show piece. With innovative plans created by Yorkville Design Centre and cabinetry supplied by Downsview Kitchens, the original kitchen was replaced with wire-brushed, steel-blue stained oak cabinetry, and a custom stainless steel countertop, in keeping with the client’s sophisticated urban lifestyle. Incorporating over-sized custom-made barn board doors, specialty hardware and a spectacular walk-in closet into the condo’s existing structure was a significant challenge, but the results speak for themselves.
