Color and whimsy was the order of the day. Creating a bright and cheerful space from a dark, damp and neglected space was the program. Along with a bathroom, room for visitors, kids and storage. All in a tight budget. The first order of business was lowering the floor to allow for more ceiling height. Everything else was icing on the cake.
