Our clients had lived with "builder grade" cabinetry and very little functionality for too long! They wanted a new foot print, fresh finishes with a warm welcoming feel for entertaining family & friends. We removed all the dark old cabinets, re-designed the kitchen foot print taking out a peninsula, replacing it with a good sized island. Moving the fridge, flanking it with pantry cabinets on either side, gave the look of a built -in and added much needed pantry space. The new double ovens, micro drawer, and cook top with stainless hood gives the space a current vibe, while the raised panel doorstyle in a soft white from Feildstone cabinetry, with a crackle tile back splash (Sonoma tile makers) enhanced with a Calcutta mosaic inset (Bedrosians tile and stone) keeps the space timeless with a welcoming feel. We installed Silestone Quartz counters on both island and perimeter. Added pendant lighting over island and a chandelier in adjacent dining area. The new furniture island boasts turned legs bead board back, Shaw original farm sink, Delta pullout spray faucet in oil rubbed bronze a dishwasher, spice pullout, and garbage pullout. we finished with cup pulls in a dark bronze finish from Top knobs. We added hardwood flooring where we removed the peninsula finished in a darker stain. All in all a lovely new space!
