Award-Winning Kitchen! This kitchen won first place in the NKBA - WI Chapter's Dreams to Reality 2014 competition for kitchens larger than 250 sq. feet. We made many structural changes to transform this kitchen including moving mechanicals in a thick wall as you entered the kitchen, moving the door to the stairs, moving the stairs wall to open the kitchen to the living room, removing a closet pantry, and removing a wall between the kitchen and old butler's pantry space. We also dropped the ceiling around the perimeter of the room to create a space for new alder beams. Walnut cabinets and wood tops, brushed granite tops, natural stone backsplash tile, hickory floors, and clay on the hood were some of the materials used to create this stunning space.
