This contemporary home in Houston, TX was designed for a large Mexican family who was translated to Houston. Each of the daughters have large private suites. The home has ample space to hold large gatherings of friends + family. The architectural style is inspired by the contemporary design of their home country. We bring a simple yet sophisticated approach to creating the private living environment. Asymmetrical shapes overlap simple elements to create a layering of light, contrast of texture, and flowing space. The reflecting pools situated around the home redefine the sense of indoor outdoor as the light and wall textures reflect in and around the windows and adjoining rooms. The house is unapologetically modern in a neighborhood known for it's traditional re-boots. We hope you enjoy it.
