Due to grading issues, the trees in the backyard of this new build in Austin, TX had to have a retaining wall 2ft. deep built around them. That posed a problem for the homeowners when they wanted to build a deck, but Abe Oeltjen of Austin Deck Company had the solution. They decided to build two separate Cedar decks, one around the trees inside the retaining wall and the other above that deck level with the patio cover. Now the outdoor space is useable and beautiful.
