The landscape for this estate won the California Landscape Contractors Association award in 2013 for all its sustainable elements: water catching ponds, a graywater system from the house, native and edible plants, permeable surfaces, and natural boulders. It draws deer, fox, birds, bees and butterflies from the surrounding forest.
