Our clients recently purchased a beautiful lake home with stunning sights - except for the kitchen. We transformed their outdated space by removing the two-tiered wrap around peninsula, opening up the flow, and adding a butcher block top island. To coordinate with a newly renovated fireplace in the adjacent living room, we added elegant curves and corbel details. The creamy perimeter also matches the fireplace, while the stained maple island ties in a neighboring wet bar. Gorgeous wavy backsplash tiles, along with blue tones and sweeping veins in the countertops mimic the lake, visible through the great room windows. New tile flooring brightens the space, while contrasting transition strips clearly define the kitchen area and play nicely with the island.

What was once a dark space with an awkward traffic flow, is now a cheery space perfect for entertaining!
