This primary bathroom remodel was a full-gut, where we also eliminated an angled wall, the garden tub and windows above the tub, and relocated the shower and vanity to create a better layout with more storage. We created a larger double sink vanity in white oak, stained with a quartz countertop, brass plumbing, and hardware. We removed the window over the tub and added a transom window into the new shower area. We created an additional closet space where the old shower was located, and we added a white oak, stained linen cabinet with ample storage where the niche space was. The large format floor tiles wrapped into wainscoting inside the shower, and we accented with a blue-gray tile that spanned wall to wall, creating a larger impact. We also added a whimsical wallpaper in the water closet for added interest.
