Working closely with the client and design team, RTD created a landscape that anchors the new residence to the rugged ocean side site, taking advantage of spectacular views and steep topography. Spaces were designed for the private needs of the family, social gatherings, play and the placement of sculpture. Landscape materials include concrete, limestone, granite, Corten steel, stainless steel, wood, water and fire. Plantings suitable to the ocean environment are woven throughout the composition.
