Hand carved from Carrara Marble ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrara_marble). I learned first hand why sculptors cherish this material. With a sharp chisel and a steady hand, this material will cooperate with the sculptor. This menorah was commissioned by a wonderful man who gave it as a gift to his sweetheart. My gift was being able to create a another stone menorah. The first one I created was for the first Menorah Show at the Somerset Mall in Troy, Michigan. It was hand carved from Indiana Limestone.
