This room was originally all white...walls, ceiling, carpet, fireplace. The exposed beams were the only color. Clients tasked me to make it more functional for seating and entertaining as well as making warm and inviting. The white berber carpet was removed, hardwood floors installed. A natural grasscloth with blue undertone was installed to add texture and warmth. The painted corner brick fireplace was refaced with drystack stone which complimented the exposed beams and textured walls. Adding the persian rugs, for pattern and color, new upholstery and reupholstering clients chairs, and installing a new chandelier made the room complete and functional!.
