For this project, we used the drill-and-fill insulation method to improve the ceiling’s energy performance without removing drywall. Small access holes were carefully drilled between the beams, allowing us to dense-pack insulation into each cavity for full coverage. After the insulation was installed, the openings were patched, sealed, and prepared for paint.

This method is ideal when the homeowner wants better comfort and efficiency while keeping the existing ceiling intact.
