This lovely single story is undergoing a garden transformation. The client wished to have no lawn and minimal maintenance. the elements in the garden like the back patio and metal arbor were crowded and too many shrubs crowded the landscape. we designed pathways to allow for a journey through the landscape and enhanced spaces where bird and squirrel feeders could be refilled and enjoyed from the house and patios. the front garden had a small dry creek feature which we restructured and added various river rock sizes and varietals to create a perfectly weighted and natural looking dry creek segment. We also added a custom bridge to allow the backyard paths to cross over the creek. Later a fence is being installed around the back garden and the arbor / gate combonation will be built by the same amazing crafts woman (Bridge City Arbors). Plantings will also be completed in the late spring.
