This home is a dream come true. As a designer I dreamed of building my own house and being able to choose all the materials for the interior and the exterior. I had a pretty clear vision of what the exterior materials should be and also the layout of the home. The architect Marre Design helped bring my vision to life. The home is full of natural light and every space has a function. The brushed oak Kentwood hardwood flows throughout the home, except for the home theatre room. The floor is pet friendly and light. The white walls allows for the art and antiques to shine. It is a modern home yet it is warm and welcoming. The building process was not without hiccups, but what project is not!? I am very proud of this project and feel that is truly reflects who I am. I feel at home.
