This home in West Hillhurst was very dark and needed to be refreshed. All the walls and baseboards/casings were painted, including the kitchen coupboards that were brown. The raised bar in the kitchen was removed and a new white quartz countertop further brightened the space. White subway tile was installed in a herringbone pattern for a more traditional yet interesting effect. Outdated light fixtures were replaces in the kitchen and bathrooms, as well as outdoors. The house was staged with trendy furniture for the purpose of selling the home when the market permits. Until then, the homeowner has a comfortable updated fresh home to live in.
