This charming Chappaqua home renovation showcases sophisticated comfort, refined elegance, and spaces designed for serenity. Our clients were eager for a space to support their next chapter as empty nesters. While the husband is an avid cyclist, the wife loves yoga. They contemplated moving but couldn't imagine leaving behind their stunning yard and amazing neighbors. They imagined a refuge that would indulge their senses, encourage wellness, and welcome guests with open arms. We proposed an overall palette of sophisticated neutrals, a modern aesthetic, and a clean, serene feel. Then, we adapted the design concept of each room to repeat this motif while also layering in elements that make every space feel unique.

In the entryway, we combined smooth, sumptuous textures with stunning gold details and a soothing color palette to create a peaceful first impression. We incorporated deep noir accents, a dramatic light fixture, and a beautifully painted railing to ground the space.

We employed a soothing palette of grays, blues, and neutral champagne hues in the sophisticated living room. Luxurious textures create a warm yet refined atmosphere, black and gold accents enhance the space, and thoughtfully arranged furnishings allow for easy conversation and comfortable mingling. The focal point is a show-stopping fireplace with a fresh, elegant facelift featuring sophisticated black stone, complemented by two newly painted built-ins offering essential storage and displaying contemporary art.

Continuing the clean, modern aesthetic, we furnished the dining room with a dark wood table featuring bronze accents. Upholstered gray chairs with gold metal detailing echo the chandelier, wall sconces, and framed wall art. We added patterns through floor-to-ceiling drapery, a clean-lined area rug, and shimmering wallpaper. The conveniently located bar ensures guests have easy access to refreshments.

In the family room, we layered beautiful textiles to maintain a modern yet approachable and polished design. The stone wall fireplace adds an organic touch, enhancing the room's warmth and natural elegance. Comfortable seating options in luxurious fabrics and textures create a cohesive and inviting space.

For the master bedroom and ensuite bathroom, we proposed a serene color palette of muted charcoal, soft gray, and touches of brass. The result is livable spaces that feel relaxed yet effortlessly elevated. Similarly, guest bedrooms and bathrooms offer a haven for rejuvenation, boasting bright and airy atmospheres that ensure guests feel comfortable and refreshed throughout their stay.

This home boasts a recreation room, a beautiful, refreshing swimming pool, and a pool room adorned with artwork and a pool table. We also included a yoga room with a porch leading onto the back patio. This space, featuring an ensuite bathroom, serves as a tranquil retreat and a pool house for entertaining guests. The incredible backyard is perfect for entertaining. Ample seating areas and an outdoor dining space make it ideal for hosting gatherings.
