This is truly a chef’s kitchen! These clients were looking to expand their kitchen so the husband, a professional chef, could have the space for storage and appliances to better suit his cooking and entertaining needs. The old kitchen was turned into a wet bar and the new kitchen was moved into the adjacent family room. A large corner walk-in pantry was worked into the design and is charmed by the old 1940’s entry door found by the clients. The 48” range and hood becomes a focal point and the contrasting island provides ample storage and countertop space for prepping and serving food. A support post was needed at the island, but was worked seamlessly into the design.
