Chelsea Loft
A comfortable and light-filled loft with a quirky but stylish edge is filled with a personal collection of Avant-Garde art and furnishings. A balancing act of form and function, and a melding of two personalities resulted in an interior that is both beautiful and functional, but highly adaptable to an ever-changing art collection. The architectural lines of the space and the shapes of the furniture were kept in a contemporary style, but bold colors were used to punctuate the space. Richly textured carpets and fabrics – plush mohair, boucle, and flannel - were used to soften the overall feeling of the interior – allowing the art to remain the focus of the home.
