Solid cherry wood bookcase with 1/4" china birch plywood back -- the China birch back offers an excellent contrast against the cherry, especially as the cherry ages and darkens. The birch has a great golden glow against the cherry's darker beige and browns. Finished with shellac. 72" high, 36" wide. 12" deep shelves. Bottom two shelves and top are fixed in place to provide stability. The other 4 shelves are adjustable.
