These homeowners had always wanted to live on the water and when they found the perfect location, they didn't let the small cottage that hadn't been updated in decades stand in their way of building their dream home.

The biggest challenge building this home came with the many restraints of the lot size. Around 50 feet wide and 600 feet long, creative measures had to be taken into consideration and building up was a necessity. We also had to come up with creative solutions for the well and the neighbors' septic system.

This whole home is unique in layout and design. When the homeowners realized they were going to have to sacrifice real stone on the home's exterior to remain in budget, we were able to find a thinner, natural stone that fit their price point and by dropping the level at which the stone started by a couple of inches, we were able to fit the real stone into their budget and onto their home.
