Clients wanted to transform their lake home into a hub for making memories. Our team designed and built a free-flowing, open concept kitchen and dining area where family members and guests can't help but come together. The clean and cheerful character of this space uplifts all who enter with its weightless beauty. However, functionality is always the first consideration in our design work. The flooring is made to withstand being perpetually damp, ensuring it holds up against a lifetime of bare wet feet popping inside for a snack. The island comfortably seats five for more casual meals and visiting with the cook, while dual-sided storage underneath the island maximizes the kitchen's smaller square footage. The dining room (not pictured here) features floor to ceiling cabinetry with glass panels for displaying china, intimate overhead lighting, and enough room to have the entire neighborhood over for a sit-down family style meal.
