"CLASSIC COASTAL" STYLE HOME

This home is on the shore of one of the numerous inland lakes that dot Central Florida near Orlando - Lake Butler - and the nightly fireworks display at Walt Disney World is visible from the patio.
The interiors reflect formal English style, but lightened and brightened. It serves as a family of five's primary residence and so needs a measure of livability.
The walls and details are all made of textured stucco exuding the ambiance of Bermuda. And with this home we began to develop our "classic coastal" style.

Walnut herringbone floors inlaid with hand-painted marquetry in the front hall introduce custom craftsmanship that continues throughout the house. A replica of Nike of Samothrace, also known as Winged Victory, stands on the newel post. Signed drawings by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec hang on the wall.

This octagon-shaped room features a vaulted wood ceiling, with exposed beams. A custom millwork displays a collection of porcelain vases, their colors carry through the window treatments, furniture cushion fabrics and accent tables.

Vibrant-colored walls in lime green and pristine white window blinds offset dark brown furniture while beautiful neutral draperies with blue accents add softness and sophistication to the decor of this room.
