Coastal Getaway
The client purchased a 2-bedroom, 2-bath beach condo and sought a complete remodel with a "beach" concept in mind. The original layout had the dining area at the entrance and a galley kitchen in the middle, dividing the space. To create a more open and spacious feel, we made significant changes.
Firstly, we relocated the kitchen to the front of the condo and introduced an island, allowing for a better flow and improved functionality. The kitchen features a captivating two-tone design. The main cabinets are in a pristine white shade, complemented by concrete Ceasarstone Quartz countertops. The island, on the other hand, adds a vibrant touch with its turquoise hue and Nougat Ceasarstone Quartz countertops.
By moving the dining area to the middle of the space, we expanded the living area and created seamless sight lines from the front door through to the dunes. This design adjustment maximizes the beach ambiance and enhances the overall openness of the condo.
Both bathrooms underwent transformations as well. In the master bathroom, we aimed for a spa-like retreat ambiance. Calacatta Gold Marble was used for the floors and walls, exuding an elegant and luxurious feel. To add a captivating touch, we incorporated a custom glass mosaic tile feature in the shower by New Revenna.
For the guest bathroom, a more modern look was desired. We opted for large wave-like tiles on the walls, creating a unique visual effect. A turquoise glass feature by Island Stone was introduced, visible from the hallway when the door is open. Both bathroom vanities feature casework by Showplace, matching the turquoise shade of the kitchen island, and are topped with Nougat Ceasarstone countertops.
To complete the beach-inspired transformation, the entire condo was repainted in a light yellow shade, evoking a bright and airy atmosphere. The white ceiling enhances the overall sense of openness and adds to the beach feel. Additionally, vinyl plank flooring by Coretec was installed in the main living area, providing a durable and stylish foundation.
