Colleton River on the Water!

This new home on the Colleton River in the heart of the lowcountry of South Carolina is chock full of stunning details with gorgeous tiles and stones - granite, natural seashell limestone, stacked stone walls, beautiful hardwood floors, travertine floors and walls, Faberge Mable, subway tile...found on countertops, backsplash, bathroom, kitchen and the fireplace. Take a look for some great decorating ideas. Here we have a close up view of the split face stacked stone travertine wall, behind the large soaking tub and in front of the walk-in shower. This wall is gorgeous and is a beautiful focal point for this master bath...and does a great job setting off the large standalone tub.

View of the shower for the guest bathroom...love the glass barn door along with the pebble shower floor. Shower walls are white subway tile and an accent tile border of 1 x 1 textured natural limestone mosaic. Each mosaic tile has a different pattern chiseled into it, for a unique border look.

Focus on the freestanding tub - and what a tub! Love the calming colors and paneling for a soothing ambiance and relaxing bath to de-stress after a long day. The great looking floor is actually porcelain tile in a wood look.

Love this back kitchen, situated right behind the "main" kitchen. The gorgeous brick was picked after the granite countertops and what a lovely contrast they present to the Copenhagen granite. Coffee nook in the back kitchen. Here we see the gorgeous veins in the Copenhagen Granite which is the countertop and backsplash for this nook. The colors and veins are stunning. And well, so is this espresso coffee machine! Sure to be a favorite spot in the house.

Another view of the back kitchen...in this we see the door going to the back porch ... smart and easy access when entertaining. All details have been thought through in this design, including coordination of the beautiful Copenhagen Granite counters with the brick walls.

Dutch doors into the laundry room - brilliant, especially for these dog-loving homeowners. What we can't see here are the two big, cushy dog beds under the window.

A different peek into this laundry room, outfitted with plenty of storage space and counters. Vintage Granite counters and Walker Zanger Moss, an oyster and onyx glass and slate blend, for the backsplash gives this room lots of extra character. The 12 x 24 slate look tile for the flooring finishes...

The focal point for this powder room is the stacked stone wall - very striking. The travertine vessel sink with waterfall faucet also make a nice statement. What a great use of natural products for this personality rich powder room.
