This family of five had some needs that their current layout was not providing. Desperately needing a mudroom that would organize school and activity supplies was imperative. Short of doing an addition they thought they where out of options. Solving problems is my specialty and I love re-imagining spaces and using found space. I proposed we convert their small/under used dining room into a mudroom/ homework station, with custom cubbies for all 3 kids and mom and dad of course! We then repositioned the front door to gain a few feet and turned the catch all front room into a beautiful dining room. We checked all the items on the list and these homeowners are now able to enjoy every square foot of their spacious home.
