The clients wanted a patio from which to enjoy the beautiful views of their new home. We feel we gave them just that. From our design to reality, this project came to life starting with the 24' x 12' composite Trex deck. A large 16' stairway matched with side stairs creates easy access. The patio structure is all large douglas fir timber and measures 16'x18'. The post to post span across the width measures a huge 18 feet with beams which consist of 3x12's sandwiched around a 2x6 steel beam and bolted together. 2x6 pine shiplap finishes out the underside of the roof with a composite shingle top. Stainless steel wire rails complete the deck giving it a clean, modern look, while maximizing the views.
